Office visits are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Bianchi or Dr. Swanson, call 751-3675.
Same-Day Appointments. Our appointment line (751-3675) opens at 8 am, Monday through Friday. If your child has an acute illness or urgent medical situation during office hours, ask to speak to our triage nurse who schedules same-day appointments. We make every effort to get you in to see your child’s pediatrician that day. Please – no walk-ins! That will only delay your situation.
Well-Child Appointments. Regular well-child visits with your pediatrician are important to assess growth and development and can be made by calling 751-3675. Scheduling is done three months in advance to accommodate dates and times that are convenient to you.
We follow the recommended guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics for well-child visits and immunizations (see Health Resources). Newborns are seen two to three days after leaving the hospital, and also at 2 weeks. Well-child visits are then scheduled at the following ages: 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months and yearly after that. Additional physicals, such as camp and sports physicals, should be scheduled well in advance.
New Patients. If you are a new patient please download and compete the new patient forms and bring them to your first visit, along with your insurance card and immunization record. This will save you time in the waiting room.
Cancellations. Please notify Casas Adobes Pediatrics at least 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to keep your appointment so we can accommodate other patients who have urgent medical needs.
Nursing Advice during Office Hours. During regular office hours, Casas Adobes Pediatrics has registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who provide telephone advice to guide you through most minor illnesses, answer simple questions, and determine if an appointment is needed. For questions beyond their specific training, Dr. Swanson or Dr. Bianchi are always consulted. Call 751-3675. Your call will be returned by one of the nurses as soon as possible, within two to three hours.
Newborn Circumcision. Dr. Bianchi performs newborn circumcision using a local anesthetic plus other comfort measures. The procedure is usually done in the office. Call us for more information or to make an appointment. |
